PTSI Sets Target To Issue 6,000 Halal Certifications This Year

JAKARTA - PT Surveyor Indonesia or PTSI targets to issue halal certification for 6,000 products this year. As for now, PTSI has issued halal certification for 4,000 domestic products.

PTSI President Director M Haris Witjaksono said his company continues to accelerate halal certification for domestic business actors. He said, the realization also continues to show a positive trend.

"Where is the progress? Thank God we are now able to achieve certification above 4,000 products that we can issue," he said when met at Graha Surveyor Indonesia, Jakarta, Monday, October 30.

Haris admitted that he would continue to boost the growth of halal certification. He said, this year his party set a target to issue halal certification for 6,000 domestic products.

Currently, said Haris, the PTSI Halal Inspection Agency (LPH) has also received an accreditation as the main LPH of the Halal Product Guarantee Audit Agency (BPJPH) in the middle of this year.

"Specifically, because we are only the main auditors in the middle of the year, we can reach 5,000-6,000 products that are good for us. We hope that next year it will increase again," he explained.

To pursue this target, Haris said that he mobilized all company human resources (HR) to increase the realization of halal certificates.

"What is important for us this year is to build capacity. We are preparing this capacity. We will continue to increase the auditors and we hope that later we will also work with several LPHs in the regions, so that this acceleration can run," he said.
