Commemoration Of IFG Youth Pledge Day Support Labuan Bajo Youth Festival 2023

JAKARTA - Indonesia Financial Group (IFG), Insurance, Guarantee, and Investment BUMN Holding, supports the Labuan Bajo Youth Festival 2023 theme Dare to Integrity in the context of Youth Pledge Day 2023 initiated by the Archipelago Foundation and the Bajo Talk Podcast.

The Labuan Bajo Youth Festival 2023 activity will be attended by around 2,000 participants and is IFG's support in encouraging the rise of courage and integrity of young people Labuan Bajo in the face of change.

Head of the IFG Communication Department I Gede Suhendra said this collaboration was a joint effort to encourage Labuan Bajo young people to become a generation with integrity, courage and readiness to face changes and challenges in particular. One of them is the rapid development of Labuan Bajo tourism as a super priority destination for Indonesian tourism.

"IFG and its holding members through its TJSL program strongly support the Labuan Bajo Youth Festival 2023 activities as part of the State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) in preparing the young people of Labuan Bajo to be part of Indonesia's vision of Golden 2045," said Suhendra, in his statement, quoted on Sunday, October 29.

The implementation of the Labuan Bajo Youth Festival 2023 is an effort by the organizers of the Archipelago Foundation and the Bajo Talk Podcast to provide a forum for the younger generation to be creative, productive, and can inspire the younger generation in West Manggarai.

Meanwhile, the Head of the IFG TJSL Department, Adrian Wishnu Parangi, added that in addition to supporting the Labuan Bajo Youth Festival 2023, IFG will also hold a Labuan Bajo Marathon IFG 2023 on November 4, which is supported by a series of social activities that are prioritized on sustainable programs that have a big impact on the community (Creating Shared Value) which places the creation of economic value and social value together.

Some of the activities carried out include insurance literacy, fish processing training for micro and small businesses, additional food for stunting reduction, the Indonesian Healthy Children's program, tree planting, and providing education assistance funds for student category running athletes.

This activity is expected to have a positive impact and match the needs of the people around Labuan Bajo and this is in line with the commitment of the Ministry of SOEs to participate in driving the economy in the real sector.

"In the future, we hope that the young generation Labuan Bajo, who have courage and integrity, will not only bring change to themselves, but will also bring change to the wider community and have a positive impact on society," said Adrian.

In this activity, IFG provides literacy related to the role of IFG as a BUMN insurance holding, guarantee, and investment and provides insurance literacy as a protection against future risks that will be faced by the younger generation.

IFG also introduced the IFG Labuan Bajo Marathon 2023 which will be held on November 4, 2023. IFG Labuan Bajo Marathon is not only a running sports competition, but is also a tourism event to boost the economy in Labuan Bajo.
