Letter Of Recommendation For Purchase Of Subsidized Fuel From BPH Migas Valid For 3 Months

JAKARTA - Regulation of BPH Migas Number 2 of 2023 concerning Issuance of Recommended Letters for Purchase of Certain Types of Oil Fuel (JBT) and Types of Assignment Special Fuel (JBKP), simplifying the purchase process of JBT Solar and JBKP Pertalite for user consumers, including changes in the validity period of recommendation letters from one month to three months.

"In the past, the recommendation letter was valid for one month, but it is currently being changed to three months to make it easier for our brothers and sisters who live in areas where the spread is wide and far from local government officials. This revision does not only apply to subsidized diesel fuel, but also subsidized Pertalite fuel," said Member of the BPH Migas Committee Basuki Trikora Putra, Saturday, October 28.

He added that the change in the validity period of this recommendation letter, according to public input, also aims to save time in managing the Recommendation Letter.

For information, this regulation is a refinement of the previous rule, namely the Regulation of BPH Migas No. 17 of 2019 concerning the Issuance of Regional Apparatus Recommendations for Purchase of Certain Types of Oil Fuel, with the aim of realizing the provision and distribution of JBT of Solar Oil and JBKP Pertalite which is right on target and on volume.

Subsidized BBM uses state money that must be accountable for its utilization, on target and on volume. Therefore, a mechanism is needed which is a guideline for implementation in the field. BPH Migas compiled a revision of this rule to facilitate the process of purchasing JBT and JBKP fuel so that users can enjoy it," he explained.

BPH Migas appealed to the support of the Regional Government to socialize this rule to relevant regional apparatus, such as the Office and Village Head, so that the public or consumer users can get their rights properly.
