Add Air Fleet, Pelita Air Targets To Have 11 Units

JAKARTA PT Pelita Air Service (Pelita Air) has again added a new fleet of Airbus A320 aircraft. This aircraft is the 9th aircraft out of 11 units ordered by Pelita Air for 2023.

Pelita Air President Director Dendy Kurniawan said that there are still two more aircraft that will enter the country.

"The 10th and 11th planes that have been ordered will arrive in week 4 November," he said in an official statement, Wednesday, October 25.

Dendy explained that the addition of this fleet is a mandate from the Government to continue to improve national air connectivity. At the same time to fulfill the high public interest in Pelita Air.

Furthermore, Dendy said Pelita Air's steps to continue to increase the number of fleets were also in line with the company's plan to be able to increase flight frequency and new flight routes.

"The high public interest in Pelita Air is reflected in the high seat occupancy rate (Seat Load Factor) from Pelita Air in the third quarter of 2023," he explained.

Dendy also detailed that from July 1 to September 30, PT Pelita Air recorded that the seat occupancy reached an average of 83 percent.

"Pelita Air, which is part of a subsidiary of PT Pertamina (Persero), always prioritizes providing the best service and comfort of the community," he said.
