The Capital Archipelago Authority (OIKN) signed a collaboration with the Tony Blair Institute (TBI) to support the development of IKN in East Kalimantan.

The MoU was signed by OIKN Secretary Achmad Jaka Santos Adiwajaya and Indonesian TBI Country Director Shuhaela Haqim.

The signing of this collaboration includes 4 aspects, namely increasing the education sector through collaboration between higher education institutions, developing the health sector related to clinical trials, research and development.

"Today's MoU marks our collaboration that will pave the way for the development of research and innovation zones in the archipelago," said OIKN Head Bambang Susantono at a press conference in Jakarta, Wednesday, October 18.

Bambang said that his party is very happy to be able to establish this MoU collaboration that will support OIKN in realizing Nusantara's vision to become an inclusive and sustainable city, caring for the welfare and progress of its citizens, and providing them with access to research and innovation and world-class education services.

On the same occasion, Executive Chairman Tony Blair Institute for Global Change Tony Blair said that his party is ready to help realize research, innovation and technology centers in the archipelago with the help of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN), namely Pertamina.
