300 IPB Students, Celebrate Food Station Events Titled Goes To Campus On IPB

PT Food Station Tjipinang Jaya (FSTJ) held a Goes to Campus event at the Rectorate Auditorium Andi Hakim Nasution, Bogor Agricultural University (IPB), Dramaga, Bogor, West Java, Thursday 5 October.

The Food Station Activity Goes to Campus themed, "Future Challenges and Digital Transformation", attended by the Assistant for Economics and Finance of DKI Jakarta, Sri Haryati; President Director and Director of Finance of PT FSTJ, Pamrihadi Wiraryo and Budi Santoso; and the President Commissioner together with members Abdul Rahman Kadir and Nurfitriana.

Starting the event, the Director of Finance and General Food Station Budi Santoso introduced the Food Station to IPB students. In his presentation, he explained about the Food Station as the Jakarta Food BUMD which has the main task of maintaining food security in Jakarta. In addition, Budi also explained the business model run by the Food Station to a number of achievements achieved by the Food Station.

"You IPB students can certainly find out about the Food Station from social media and linkedin, but on the occasion of this event there is nothing wrong if I am the Director of Finance and General Affairs to explain directly about the Food Station," said Budi.

Assistant for the Economy and Finance of DKI Jakarta, Sri Haryati explained that Jakarta's position is very important in the national economy. According to him, in terms of inflation, Jakarta has a contribution of 27 percent of the value of national inflation. Meanwhile, for national economic growth, Jakarta contributed 17 percent.

"This is proof of the importance of Jakarta's position for Indonesia and the Food Station along with two other Food BUMDs such as Perumda Pasar Jaya and Perumda Dharma Jaya are important instruments in helping the DKI Provincial Government maintain food security in Jakarta and maintain inflation in Jakarta," said Sri, who is also an IPB Alumnus.

In the remarks of the President Director of PT FSTJ, Pamrihadi Wiraryo said that the arrival of directors and commissioners was to introduce one of the BUMDs belonging to the DKI Provincial Government in the field of food security to hundreds of IPB students.

"The first time we came to this campus to provide an opportunity for students who will graduate later as a fresh graduate of IPB, interested in joining the Food Station as a BUMD of the DKI Provincial Government on a national and even international scale. We have now exported superior products abroad," he said in an official statement, Monday, October 9.

Pamrihadi said that the arrival of PT FSTJ directors to the IPB campus to provide opportunities for IPB students to become professionals and provide a useful meaning of life after graduating from college.

"We want to inspire students in this Goes to Campus IPB activity. Food stations are awarded the best BUMD in Indonesia with the best food categories and various other awards that have been won," he explained.

Deputy Chancellor for Education and Student Affairs IPB, Deni Noviana explained, her party graduated around 6,000 students every year. Meanwhile, those who registered around 30 thousand prospective students from all over Indonesia to study at IPB.

"Students who graduate are currently 22 years old, will later fill a strategic position at PT FSTJ towards Indonesia Emas 2045," he said.

He said that the IPB campus not only has a role to educate students, but also distributes graduates to the world of work.

"We organize various trainings for fresh graduates who after six months of graduation have not found a job. Thank God, 94 percent of our graduates after attending training on campus can work at the company," he said.

He also expressed his gratitude for the synergy together so that the Food Station Goes to Campus activities can be carried out on the IPB campus.

"Hopefully the Food Station as DKI BUMD will continue to grow again and become an inspiration for BUMD in all Indpnesia," he said.

For your information, the Food Station Goes to Campus is also filled with various events, including talk shows and competitions with various interesting prizes. Not to forget that at the end of the Food Station event, 30 IPB students were selected to visit to see rice production facilities and rice warehousing at the Cipinang Rice Plant, Jakarta.
