Sido Muncul Wins Subroto Award From The Ministry Of Energy And Mineral Resources

JAKARTA - PT Industri Jamu and Pharmacy Sido Muncul Tbk (SIDO) won the Subroto Award from the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, the Large Manufacturing Industry Category, on Friday 29 September 2023. Sido Muncul is considered capable of efficiency and concern for the energy sector and natural resources.

The Subroto Award is the highest award given by the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources to stakeholders who have extraordinary achievements in advancing the ESDM sector. Director of Sido Muncul Irwan Hidayat said he was proud and happy for the appreciation from the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources in the form of the highest award in the Large Manufacturing Industry sector.

"I also really appreciate the work of our team in the environment. What we have been doing so far has received appreciation from the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources," said Irwan.

Irwan said that the Subroto award won by Sido Muncul was a form of government appreciation for the hard work so far.

"We received the Subroto award because so far we have been serious and concentrate on managing energy and resources," he said.

Irwan added that the Subroto award he won because Sido Muncul was considered to have participated in preparing for Indonesia's future.

"So far, we have helped how will Indonesia's future with energy efficiency, never throw garbage, we use electricity that pays the most expensive, we also use solar cells. Anyway, we are aware that the future is energy, who will be wasteful will feel the consequences," said Irwan.

Irwan said that Sido Muncul's success in achieving this achievement was inseparable from the company's various innovations and commitments to pay attention to environmental sustainability.

He said that in his business activities, Sido Muncul not only pays attention to profit aspects, but emissions from the production process, waste management, environmental sustainability also get serious attention.

"Even these natural resources have become a concern for natural resources. We not only produce but also pay attention to emissions, how to manage waste, and how to manage the environment," said Irwan.
