BANTEN In order to improve the economy among low-income people, the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), PT Tatalogam Lestari, PT Tata Metal Lestar and Habitat Humanity Indonesia, trained hundreds of builders to obtain certification for the installation of light steel.

The activity involving the Regency Government (Pemkab) and the Tangerang City Government (Pemkot) is also one solution to reduce the large number of unemployed in Tangerang.

The program to improve the economy of low-income people in Banten Province is through access to the Job Competency Certification (SKK) training in the field of construction. The program will take place from September 20 to 30, 2023.

The use of light steel products that already have SNI standards coupled with the right application made by certified applicators, can reduce the risk of construction failure. For this reason, the certification of light steel applicators has been a routine company agenda. As a result, to date, we have facilitated thousands of light steel applicators to obtain certification from BNSP, "explained Stephanus.

He added that the collaboration between the Tatalogam Group, the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and the Habitat Humanity Indonesia itself is a form of implementation of his company's policies that have mainstreamed sustainable green policies in production management and operations with ESG pillars (environment, social and governance).
