Trade Minister Zulhas Roadshow Cheap Market To Jambi: This Is The President's Mandate

JAKARTA The Minister of Trade (Mendag) Zulkifli Hasan is known to be directly involved in the operation of the cheap market in Jambi this weekend.

From the information released on the official website, it was stated that the government distributed a number of basic necessities at affordable prices.

"Minister of Trade, Zulkifli Hasan symbolically distributed basic necessities (bapok) to the public during the Cheap Market Operation which took place at Jambi Business Center (JBC), Jambi Province," said a press release from the Ministry of Trade quoted on Sunday, September 24.

Zulhas, Zulkifli Hasan's nickname, said that this activity really helps the community, especially for household groups with income that is not large.

"This activity is also one of the mandates of the President of the Republic of Indonesia to help the community," he said.

On this occasion, he also provided food assistance in the form of rice to the surrounding community.

"At the direction of the President of the Republic of Indonesia, the government will continue the food aid program in the form of 10 kg of rice in September "November 2023 for 21.3 million beneficiary families (KPM)," said the Minister of Trade Zulhas.

Previously, the Minister of Trade also noted that he directly observed market operations in various regions, such as Lampung, West Sumba, to New Timika in Papua.
