HAIS Logistics Company Add Fleet Increase Transport Volume 2023

JAKARTA - PT Hasnur Internasional Shipping Tbk (HAIS), a logistics and sea transportation provider company, inaugurated the operation of the TB Hasnur 17 tugboat to support the achievement of a transport volume target in 2023 of 10 million metric tons (MT) or approximately 1,100 cruises. "The addition of this fleet will support the achievement of the target volume transportation of 10 million metric tons by 2023," said Operations Director of PT Hasnur Internasional Shipping Tbk Laorentina Devi quoted by ANTARA, Saturday 9 September. The inauguration is marked by a Tampung Tawar'' ceremony held in Puting River, Tabalong, South Kalimantan. The Tampung Tampungi is a Banjar tradition aimed at making the plan that will be implemented to run well and avoid all dangers. The addition of this new tugboat unit constitutes the first fleet of plans to add a total of 3 sets of tugboats and barges (barge) in 2023. The operation of this new tugboat has increased the total ownership of the Company's fleet, namely to 14 sets of tugboats and barges with transport capacity varying from 7,500 MT to 10,000 MT. In addition, the addition of this fleet of ships, continued Laorentina Devi, is a manifestation of the Company's commitment to providing commodity transportation services through rivers and seas that prioritizes effectiveness and operational excellence to Company customers. TB Hasnur 17 has a engine capacity of 2,060 horsepower (HP) which will be operated to attract 300 feet rental barges and a transport capacity of 8,500 MT.

The HAIS fleet serves commodity transportation, which in the first semester of 2023, was dominated by coal cargo by 97% and the rest carried gypsum cargo and wood. It is said that the company was able to achieve zero accidents during 2,502,606 working hours in the period 1 November 2021 to 5 September 2023. The working areas calculated are work areas on land and sea, consisting of land employees (offices) and crew members.
