JAKARTA - The Directorate General of Infrastructure and Housing Financing (DJPI) of the Ministry of PUPR targets the implementation of 39 government-cooperation projects with business entities (KPBU) in 2024.

"The proposal for KPBU for the PUPR for Fiscal Year (TA) 2024 is 16 KPBU projects with a value of around Rp. 69.01 trillion in the preparation stage and 23 KPBU projects worth Rp. 183.78 trillion in the transaction stage," said Director General Herry in a Hearing Meeting (RDP) with Commission V DPR RI in Jakarta, quoted Thursday, September 7.
Herry detailed that there are dozens of projects that have entered the preparation stage, including two water resource projects (SDA), namely the Lhok Guci Irrigation Area and Jambo Aye Irrigation Area in Aceh Province with an investment value that is still being calculated.
Meanwhile, in the field of roads and bridges, two toll road projects are reported to be still in the process of being initiated by the government, namely the Malang Kepanjen Toll Road and the Bandung Intra Urban Toll Road worth IDR 22.63 trillion.
"There are also four toll road projects in the business entity initiative process, namely the Kohod (Pakuhaji)-Lebakwangi (Neglasari) Toll Road, Pluit-Bandara Toll Road (part of Tomang-Pluit-Bandara), Patimban Extend Access Toll Road (Sedang-Subang), Caringin-Cisaarua Toll Road (part of the Caringin-Cianjur Toll Road) worth IDR 27.43 trillion," said Herry.
In the area of settlements, KPBU sea reservoirs, SPAMs, and power plants in the Bintan Island area, Sindangheula-West Serian Regional SPAMs, Djuanda Regional SPAMs/Jatiluhur II, Bimatara Regional SPAMs integrated with Kuwil SPAB, Bitung-North Sulawesi SPAMs, Lombok Regional SPAMs, and Ayung SPAMs are currently also recorded to have entered the preparation stage.
