JAKARTA PT Angkasa Pura I (AP I) together with relevant stakeholder agencies have officially implemented the Airport Collaborative Decision Making (A-CDM) at Bali's I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport.
The goal is to increase flight operational efficiency.
The implementation of the A-CDM go-live is carried out on days, located in the Airport Operation Command Center (AOCC) of Bali's I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport, and involves a number of relevant agencies in the aviation sector, namely the Airport Directorate and Aviation Navigation Directorate of the Ministry of Transportation, Perum LPPNPI (AirNav Indonesia), airlines, and ground handling.
Through the implementation of A-CDM, AP I together with relevant stakeholders ranging from airlines, flight navigation service providers (AirNav Indonesia), ground handling, and other agencies will collaborate to increase efficiency and effectiveness of flight operational management by prioritizing aspects of safety, security, services, and compliance (3S+1C).
Director of Operations of PT Angkasa Pura I MMA Indah Preastuty stated that the implementation of A-CDM would contribute positively to flight operational management at airports.
"With conditions at I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport which is very congested, this system will be very helpful regarding the utilization of apron and runway capacities. With good operational management, it will greatly provide positive benefits to airlines, especially slot arrangements that will be more optimal," he said in an official excitement, Friday, August 25.
Indah said the implementation of A-CDM will also have a very positive impact on optimizing flight support facilities and human resources, due to the flow of information between stakeholders who are already optimally connected.
Indah said, the implementation of A-CDM is intended to be able to contribute directly to increasing traffic flow and air transport traffic capacity management or Air Traffic Flow and Capacity Management (ATFCM) so that it can improve flight timeliness (On-Time Performance or OTP).
Furthermore, Indah said the goal was to reduce the risk of flight delays or delays, as well as optimize the use of infrastructure and flight operational human resources.
The implementation of A-CDM at Bali's I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport was preceded by the signing of a cooperation agreement document (PKS) and the Supplementary Letter of Operational Coordination Agreement (LOCA) between AP1 and AirNav Indonesia regarding data and information exchange in the context of implementing A-CDM.
Indah said AP I has also carried out socialization to airlines and ground handling, training on the operation of the A-CDM system, as well as system integration with AirNav.
"Preparatory steps for the implementation of A-CDM also involve the Ministry of Transportation, through assistance provided by the Directorate of Aviation Navigation and the Directorate of Airports," he said.
In the world of aviation, the A-CDM is regulated by the world aviation organization ICAO through the ICAO Document 9971.
