BRI Timor Leste And Pertamina Cooperate To Provide Integrated Banking Solution For Gas Station Management

JAKARTA - PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI), RP (Representacao Permanente) Timor-Leste Branch or BRI Timor-Leste Branch in collaboration with providing Banking Services Facilities with Pertamina International Timor, SA.

BRI's SEVP Treasury & Global Services Achmad Royadi said one form of this collaboration was the provision of BRI's digital payment facilities at Public Fuel Filling Stations (SPBU) in Timor-Leste.

"With this collaboration, it is hoped that gas station owners can develop and increase sales volume at modern managed gas stations with easier and more flexible payment mechanisms," he told the media, Tuesday, August 15.

Achmad also hopes that this collaboration can increase transaction volume, value chain, and BRI CASA. All work units and e-channels are ready to support Digital payments from gas stations spread quite widely in Timor-Leste.

"BRI is committed to providing the best service in the form of integrated banking solution to customers, one of which is by providing convenience in managing financial transactions and payments. In addition, this collaboration can also increase synergy, not only with Pertamina, but also with other SOE synergies", explained Achmad.

Pertamina International Timor CEO, Beny Harto Wijaya revealed that every big step begins with the first rare, of course, through this collaboration it encourages benefits for the two companies.

"The world is moving so fast and the development of the world is no longer just a straight line but it is exponential and even jumps are so fast. We see that many financial products are developing tremendously and this collaboration is the first step to maximize SOE synergy by realizing AKHLAK culture," said Beny.

In his remarks, General Manager of BRI Timor Leste, Roby Firmansjah Sastraatmadja revealed that this collaboration was part of BRI Timor-Leste and Pertamina International Timor's efforts, S.A to increase the synergy of SOEs which would certainly encourage the growth of the two profitable companies in Timor-Leste.

"Of course, our appreciation for this collaboration will not only increase the synergy of SOEs but also the collaboration between Pertamina and BRI will increase benefits for both parties, which of course will continue to grow and continue to grow, especially in Timor-Leste," he said.

Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia Okto Dorinus Manik said that the synergy of SOEs could increase profit for both companies.

"Good cooperation encourages SOEs to go global by holding close hands to move forward together and challenges in the future are increasingly challenging both globally and in Timor-Leste by innovating to make new breakthroughs necessary to answer challenges and so as not to be eroded by the current world conditions," he said.
