Welcoming The New Deputy Minister, Minister Of SOEs: The Credibility Of Rosan Roeslani Is No More Questionable

JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) appointed Deputy Minister of SOEs Pahala Nugraha Mansyuri to become Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs. Pahala's position at the Ministry of SOEs is now occupied by Rosan Roeslani.

In addition to Pahala, the special staff of the Minister of SOEs in the field of communication, Nezar Patria, also received the task of becoming Deputy Minister of Communication and Information (Kominfo).

"Congratulations to Mr. Pahala and Mr. Nezar for getting great trust from Mr. President Jokowi. Hopefully they will be able to carry out their duties and mandates," said Erick in Jakarta, Monday, July 17.

Furthermore, Erick conveyed that the appointment of Pahala and Nezar as Deputy Foreign Minister and Deputy Minister of Communications and Informatics was proof of Jokowi's trust in the talents of the Ministry of SOEs.

In addition, Erick said the direction of the transformation of the Ministry of SOEs would also continue with the presence of Rosan Roeslani who now serves as Deputy Minister of BUMN II and Mr. Kartika Wirjoatmodjo as Deputy Minister of BUMN I.

Mr. Rosan Roeslani no longer needs to be questioned about his credibility and capability. He has experience as a banker, Chairman of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the Indonesian Ambassador to the United States so that he is expected to encourage the big strategy of SOEs so that more SOEs in various sectors are able to take part as global players," said Erick.

Erick believes that Rosan in the industrial sector until his last position as US Ambassador will provide a new color in an effort to transform SOEs in the future.
