On the other hand, Agus said the Association of Indonesian Ceramic Industries or Asaki during the last few months had quite high utilization, reaching 75 percent, in the first quarter of 2023.

"I received a letter from ASAKI, which in fact these ceramics are enjoying high growth. The production rate in the first quarter of this year reached 75 percent. That's a trend that must be maintained. However, this has decreased compared to last year," he said.

Furthermore, said Agus, the decline in utilization in 2023 is due to the weakening of people's purchasing power and the rising inflation rate. In addition, it was also triggered by the impact of an increase in the price of fuel oil or BBM in the third quarter of 2022.
