BTPN And 4 Creditors Give Loans Of IDR 1.11 Trillion To Seino Indomobil Logistics

JAKARTA - PT Bank BTPN Tbk (BTPN) together with four other creditors agreed to provide a syndicated loan of IDR 1.11 trillion to PT Seino Indomobil Logistics (SIL) for capital expenditure financing.

Bank BTPN and four other creditors, namely PT Bank DBS Indonesia, PT Bank Mayapada Internasional Tbk, PT Bank Mizuho Indonesia, and Bank of China Ltd Jakarta Branch agreed to sign a loan facility agreement with SIL on May 4, 2023 in Jakarta.

Head of Wholesale, Commercial, and Transaction Bank BTPN Nathan Christianto said in the five-year tenor agreement, Bank BTPN acted as coordinator, mandated lead arranger, and bookrunner.

"We are pleased to be a part and take an active role in the syndicated loan facility to PT Seino Indomobil Logistics. Through this loan, Bank BTPN wants to grow with our customers, Seino Indomobil and become a strategic partner in supporting its financial needs, in line with our bank's vision of always wanting to make significant changes in the lives of millions of people," he quoted Antara as saying.

The disbursement of the syndicated loan will boost the performance of Bank BTPN to continue to grow. Meanwhile, until the end of March 2023, Bank BTPN recorded credit growth of 5 percent on an annual basis (yoy) to IDR 149.90 trillion, higher than last year which was recorded at IDR 142.37 trillion.

For the corporate segment, credit growth was recorded at 7 percent yoy at the end of March 2023.

Furthermore, Nathan explained, through the loan, Bank BTPN continues to actively participate in syndicated financing, especially in infrastructure projects, renewable energy projects, the environment, social and governance, including supporting industries.

"The corporate segment of Bank BTPN will continue to grow this year, by expanding segment targets, adding new products, and strengthening technology," said Nathan.

SIL President Director Andrew Nasuri also hopes that the syndicated loan will be able to develop SIL as the best logistics company in Indonesia.

"We are sure that this facility will support us to continue to grow and remain the largest and best logistics company in Indonesia," he said.
