Currently, continued Rahadian, the construction of the building structure is almost complete and completion is being accelerated for architectural work, namely walls, ceilings, faults, and roofs as well as mechanical, electric and plumbing work.

"KCIC together with contractors targets that the construction of Halim Station can be completed in June 2023," he said in Jakarta, Wednesday, April 26.

Rahadian said KCIC would continue to oversee the construction carried out so that the work could be completed on time and continued with further stages.

Furthermore, Rahadian said that his party together with the Deputy Minister of BUMN Kartika Wirjoatmodjo had reviewed readiness regarding the retail management of the Fast Halim train station.

As a form of collaboration between KCIC and BUMN, continued Rahadian, the management of retail areas at the Fast Train Station will be carried out by Sarinah. This collaboration was marked by the signing of the MoU between KCIC and Sarinah related to the management and marketing of retail areas throughout KCJB Station and Halim LRT Integration Station in October 2022.

The collaboration with Sarinah was carried out because Sarinah was considered to have experience in developing a property into a center for community activities and shopping. Halim's own Fast Train Station will later become a meeting point for many people who use KCJB, Jabodebek LRT, and various other modes of transportation," said Rahadian.

Rahadian said that to make KCJB sustainable, KCIC will continue to optimize various potential incomes from the non-farebox side. The forms of asset entrepreneurship include property rental, retail, advertising, parking, utilities, and others.

Meanwhile, Sarinah Fetty Kwartati's President Director admitted that he was very proud to be part of the success of KCJB development. He hopes that this collaboration can provide the best choice of selected Indonesian local products & drained by Sarinah.

"So this will make KCJB a Commercial Area that can accommodate the needs of transportation service users as well as become a shopping tourism destination in accordance with the concept of 'From commuter to customer'," Fetty said.
