Minister Of Industry Agus Invites The Community To Use Domestic Products To Celebrate Victory Day

JAKARTA - Minister of Industry (Menperin) Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita congratulated Eid al-Fitr 1444 Hijri to all Muslims in Indonesia. Minister of Industry Agus said the beauty of Ramadan continued to shine along with the arrival of a fitri day. "With humility, I, Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita, the Minister of Industry of the Republic of Indonesia and the entire extended family of the Ministry of Industry, wish you a Happy Eid al-Fitr 1444 H, may Allah SWT accept all of our deeds of worship," he said in a video upload on his Instagram account @kemenperin_ri, quoted on Sunday, April 23. Agus also expressed his hope on this year's Eid al-Fitr opportunity. "Ray the day of victory by strengthening friendship and don't forget to use domestic products," he said. Previously, the Indonesian government through the Ministry of Religion (Kemenag) decided on Eid al-Fitr or 1 Syawal 1444 Hijriah in Indonesia to fall on Saturday, April 22, 2023. The decision was based on the results of the Isbat trial, the initial determination of Syawal 1443 H, which was led directly by the Minister of Religion Yaqut Cholil Qoumas at the Ministry of Religion Office, Thursday, April 20, 2023 evening WIB.

"The consensus has set 1 Syawal 1444 Hijri to fall on Saturday 22 April 2023," said Religious Affairs Minister Yaqut Cholil Qoumas at a press conference Thursday, April 20, 2023.
