Minister of Transportation (Menhub) Budi Karya Sumadi said his party was preparing toll road traffic arrangements during the Lebaran 2023 homecoming period. One of the things that was studied was the implementation of odd-even.

"We will think about even oddities later at the end or a week before, we will determine whether it needs to be determined or not," he said in a meeting with Commission V of the DPR, Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Tuesday, March 4.

Budi said, the traffic arrangements that have been set are to apply one way or one direction. Then there is also a contraflow.

"We have done some traffic engineering that will be carried out by Kakorlantas and indeed we have determined that there is a one way, there is a contraflow, we add rest areas, we also add field officers," he said.

Furthermore, Budi said that if later the results of the traffic engineering evaluation show that they are required to implement an appointment, it will be carried out.

"If we evaluate that it is relatively not easy, we will do this odd-even," he said.

At this opportunity, Budi said that the Cipali Toll Road will be passed by many travelers during the Lebaran 2023 homecoming season. Therefore, it is necessary to prepare traffic engineering.

"In Cipali, what is special is the number of travelers. So that we do some traffic engineering, which will be carried out by Kakorlantas," he explained.
