JAKARTA - The Ministry of Industry (Kemenperin) through the Bali Creative Industry Center (BCIC) will hold Creative Business Incubators and the Indonesia Fashion and Craft Awards (IFCA) to grow creative young entrepreneurs in the fields of craft and fashion.

BCIC is a forum that has been established since 2015 for creative and fashion industry players to develop their business in the context of meet-share-collaborate.

"The Creative Business Incubator Activities are carried out through classic methods and assistance aimed at developing creative young entrepreneurs in the fashion and craft fields who can advance to class," said Director General of Small, Medium and Multifarious Industries (IKMA) of the Ministry of Industry Reni Yanita in Jakarta, on Friday, March 24.

This year's series of Business Incubator coaching programs is a continuation of a similar program in 2022. Through this program, the participants will get assistance with a target of increasing turnover by 100-300 percent.

"This year's series of BCIC Creative Business Incubator Activities will start in June 2023 and will be accompanied by a two-month socialization and registration period. Furthermore, the classic session will be held in September-October 2023," said Reni.

The program will be implemented online and offline with a target of 60 participants. At the end of the session, the participants got the opportunity to do business pitching in front of potential investors.

According to Reni, in general the CBI coaching program has succeeded in helping its alumni in overcoming problems and developing businesses, such as increasing production capacity, increasing turnover, and even upgrading from micro to small scale or from small to medium scale.

"In addition, several alumni also managed to score achievements in award events, participate in international exhibitions, and get funding from investors," he concluded.
