JAKARTA - Twitter Blue is again gaining new capabilities, where customers can download videos shared by other members on X, Twitter's rebranding platform.

According to an update at the X Help Center, quoted Wednesday, July 26, verified users can download videos from certain Tweets that can be viewed offline, or are creative and re-incorporate the video to create new content.

However, that can't be done when the customer chooses to disable the Allow video option to download when the video is uploaded.

It should be noted, videos posted before July 25, 2023 cannot be downloaded. X also applies an age limit, where if the customer is under 18 years of age, the video download setting will be automatically made to non-active and unable to change this suit.

Although users X cannot directly share videos to third-party platforms if downloads are disabled, they can share links to Tweets.

Customers can also control who can view Tweets and watch their videos. X said this could give additional control over content and who has access to it.

How To Download Videos On X

1. Open the video you want to download

2. Tap the three-dot icon in the upper right corner

3. Tap Download Video4. If the video doesn't want to be downloaded by others when creating Tweets, you can select Edit at the bottom right of the video, then click Settings.

5. Tap next door Allow the video to be downloaded to turn on or off. This setting cannot be changed, to disable future downloads, you must delete the Tweet yourself.
