JAKARTA - Indonesia has three representatives in the semifinals of the Malaysia Masters 2023. The following is their match schedule.

The top four of the BWF Super 500 level event will take place at the Axiata Arena on Saturday, May 27, 2023. The match will start at 12.00 WIB.

Three Indonesian representatives from the women's and men's singles and men's doubles will play. Their performance can be watched through live broadcasts on iNews television station and live streaming on RCTI+.

The remaining Indonesian representatives are the women's singles Gregoria Mariska Tunjung, the men's singles Christian Adinata, and the men's doubles Leo Rolly Carnando/Daniel Marthin.

Gregoria reached the semifinals after defeating Chinese representative Wang Zhi Yi. He won quite convincingly two straight games 21-11, 21-14.

In this tournament Gregoria, who is present as the seventh seed, will then meet the sixth seeded women's singles from India Pusarla V. Sindhu.

On paper, Gregoria has a record not so good against Sindhu. From the previous eight meetings, he has only won once.

Interestingly, the only win came this year in the Madrid Masters final last year. It was his first title at the BWF World Tour Super.

Meanwhile, Christian Adinata stepped into the semifinals after repatriating Indina's representative, Kidambi Srikanth. Adinata will fight for a final ticket by meeting another Indian representative, Prannoy HS.

Then Leo/Daniel, who is the eighth seed, will meet the host pair Man Wei Chong/Kai Wun Tee.
