JAKARTA - The Al-Qassam Brigade, the military wing of Hamas, on Saturday (5/4) released a video featuring two Israeli prisoners in the Gaza Strip.
In the video, they appeal to Israelis to urge the government and the leader of Benjamin Netanyahu's authority to immediately release them.
"At that time we just came out for a while to breathe fresh air, see the sky and stars... then the Israeli army decided to bomb us and hit the building where I was," said one of the prisoners in the video.
"We managed to escape death, only suffered minor injuries. We survived thanks to God and the Hamas fighters who risked their lives to save us and bring us back into the tunnel all this because of the actions of you, the Israeli government," he continued.
He added, "Now I'm back 30 meters underground, in a concrete box with no sunlight, without anything, and hopeless to go home and meet my children and family."
The brawl called for the Israeli people to unite and fight to free them, and do whatever it takes to pressure the authorities and influence Netanyahu. "We die here," he said.

The second inmates also begged, "Take us home."
He added, "Don't believe what the state has told you. They say they are pressing Hamas - and here are the results of the pressure," he said, referring to the bombings and injuries suffered by the prisoners.
He continued, "Please give the prisoners who have returned home an opportunity to tell what they experienced in Gaza as a result of the Israeli attack."
At the end of the video, the Al-Qassam Brigade displays a message on the screen: Only a ceasefire deal can bring them home alive, hinting that the fate of the prisoners will not be included in a future prisoner swap deal.
Israel estimates that 59 prisoners are still being held in Gaza, including 24 people who are confirmed to be still alive. Meanwhile, Israel detained more than 9,500 Palestinians in prison under conditions described by human rights organizations as very bad, including torture, inhumane treatment, and medical negligence that led to death.
Since October 2023, more than 50,600 Palestinians, mostly women and children, have died as a result of Israeli military attacks in Gaza.
In November, the International Criminal Court (ICC) issued an arrest warrant against Netanyahu and former defense chief Yoav Gallant on suspicion of war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza.
Israel is also facing a genocide lawsuit at the International Court (ICJ) over its aggression in the Gaza region.
