Roads Towards Overcloud Country Tourism In Lebak Are Currently Affected By Landslides

JAKARTA - The road to the State tourist attraction on the Mount Luhur Clouds in East Citorek Village, Cibeber District, Lebak Regency, Friday (20/12) was affected by landslides due to high rainfall in the area.

"It is estimated that the road that was affected by the landslide was 50 meters long," said Head of the Lebak Regency Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD), Febby Rizky Pratama in Lebak, Saturday, December 21, 2024, as reported by ANTARA.

Currently, the provincial road section connecting Cipanas - Warungbanten is cut off and four-wheeled vehicles cannot be crossed.

The road to the country above the Mount Luhur Clouds in the national park area of TN is prone to landslides if the rainfall is high, due to the condition of the mountains and hills.

Previously, landslides also occurred in Sukamaju Sobang Village, so it was cut off to Rangkasbitung-Sobang- Citorek - Warungbanten.

To open the road access, he said, his party coordinated with the Banten Public Works and Spatial Planning Agency (DPUPR) so that they could use heavy equipment.

"We hope that today the road to the country above the clouds can return to normal," he said.
