JAKARTA - Police in Wisconsin interrogated friends and family regarding the shooting case by a 15-year-old girl at school. Police are investigating the motive of the shooting that killed students and teachers before finally committing suicide.

The shooter identified by police as Natalie Rupnow alias Samantha is a student at the Abundant Life Christian School in Madison, Wisconsin, the state capital.

Madison Police Chief Shon Barnes told CNN investigators were tracing the traces of the perpetrator's online upload.

Barnes said the police also checked his cell phone and computer to see if there was communication between him and anyone else.

Another question that investigators want to answer is how the 15-year-old got a gun and whether his parents were negligent.

"That is a question we must answer together with our prosecutor's office," Barnes said.

Two injured students were in critical condition as a result of the shooting. The shooting at the school adds to a dark record of 322 events in 2024, according to the K-12 School Shooting Database website.
