JAKARTA - The Kemayoran Police held a coordination meeting for securing Christmas Eve 2024 and New Year's 2025 with other 3 pillars on Tuesday, December 17. The meeting was held to ensure that the guard was carried out optimally, so that there would be no disturbances in Kamtibmas, such as brawls.

Kemayoran Police Chief Kompol Agung Ardiansyah said his party recorded that there were 19 churches in the Kemayoran area that would hold Christmas Eve.

"There are 19 churches that carry out Christmas, and there are also churches that do not celebrate Christmas. Of course, the Kemayoran Police will support them from anything," said Kompol Agung when confirmed, Tuesday, December 17.

The police also increased the operating hours of patrol cars to create a safe and conducive atmosphere of Kamtibmas.

The police chief appealed to residents not to carry out brawls and other unlawful activities if they did not want to be dealt with firmly.

"I conveyed to the residents not to carry out a brawl, if they are caught later we will process it," he said.

The Kemayoran Police will also build security posts in every church ahead of Christmas and New Year celebrations.

"In every church, a joint post will be built," he said.
