KPK's New Leaders And Councils Will Be Equipped With Code Of Ethics For 3 Days

JAKARTA - The leadership and supervisory board of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) for the period 2024-2029 will receive briefing or induction for three days from Tuesday, December 17 after being inaugurated. They will later be charged with integrity to the code of ethics to prevent violations.

"For the inaugurated leadership, they will follow the induction process that will be carried out by the Corruption Eradication Commission between two and until the next day," said KPK Spokesperson Tessa Mahardhika to reporters at the KPK's Merah Putih building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Monday, December 16.

"This induction is an obligation for all anti-corruption commission personnel," said Tessa. "With the intention of giving them the values of the KPK and how they should carry out the tasks," he said.

"Because the KPK also has quite high integrity standards and things will also be conveyed, including the code of ethics, disciplinary matters, and other things, of course, this will be conveyed to new employees and new leaders who will serve in the future," continued Tessa.

As for this induction activity, the KPK leadership for the 2019-2024 period will open an event. "But for this implementation, the KPK already has a team that usually provides induction to new employees," he said.

As previously reported, President Prabowo Subianto took the oath of office of the Leader and Supervisory Board of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) for the period 2024-2029 today. However, they have just started working as of December 20 in accordance with Presidential Decree Number 161P/2024.

The five KPK leaders who took the oath of office were Setyo Budiyanto as the chairman and concurrently a member of the KPK. Then there were also four Deputy Chairmen of the KPK and concurrently members of the KPK, namely Agus Joko Pramono, Fitroh Rohcahyanto, Ibnu Basuki Widodo, and Johanis Tanak.

Meanwhile, the KPK Supervisory Board who was inaugurated were Gusrizal as Chairman and Council Members and four members, namely Chisca Mirawati, Benny Mamoto, Wisnu Baroto, and Sumpeno.
