Reveals Case Of Exchanged Baby, Central Jakarta Police Will Exhume Baby's Body At Semper TPU

Central Jakarta Metro Police will exhume the baby's body at Semper Cemetery, Cilincing, North Jakarta on Tuesday, December 17, regarding the case of the baby's exchange of deaths. Ekhumasi will be tomorrow, Tuesday, December 17, at 09.00 WIB.

"Regarding the case of the alleged exchange of babies in Cempaka Putih, we will exhume together with the Forensic Medical Installation at Bhayangkara Hospital, the National Police Pusdokes witnessed by the parents and the Cempaka Putih RSI," said Central Jakarta Metro Police Chief, Kombes Susatyo Purnomo Condro when confirmed, Monday, December 16.

The exhumation was carried out in the context of investigation and humanity. Currently, the Satreskrim has officially written including informing the family regarding the exhumation plan tomorrow.

"Investigations to provide clarity on the status of the baby's parents through DNA tests," he said.

Central Jakarta Metro Police was forced to intervene because the baby's body was allegedly swapped at the Cempaka Putih Islamic Hospital (RSIJ), Central Jakarta.

Kombes Susatyo explained that the exhumation or demolition of the baby's grave was carried out for the DNA test process.

"Developments will be conveyed," he said.

Previously, the President Director of RSIJ Cempaka Putih, Jack Pradono Handojo, said that his party and the baby's family had agreed to do a DNA test.

He emphasized that he would bear the entire cost of the DNA test at the laboratory determined by the baby's family.

"We and the baby's parents have agreed to do a DNA test at the expense of the Cempaka Putih Islamic Hospital in the laboratory chosen by the baby's parents," said Jack, quoted from the official Instagram account of RSIJ Cempaka Putih @rsijcempakaputih on Thursday, December 12, 2024.

Chronology

Meanwhile, the baby's father, MR (27) said the incident began when his pregnant wife contracted on September 15, 2024.

Then, MR took his wife to a clinic in the Cilincing area, North Jakarta and was referred to RSIJ Cempaka Putih.

"So I got a referral on September 15, 2024, on Sunday. I was referred from the clinic because this was to the Cempaka Putih hospital by the doctor," said Rauf when confirmed.

Long story short, MR's wife also had to undergo surgery at the Cempaka Putih area hospital on September 16, 2024.

However, MR said, after birth, the family was prohibited from seeing the baby on the grounds that he was still being treated medically.

"At that time I just came to be called to give the baby a call," he added.

MR continued, in the afternoon he was informed by the hospital if the baby was in critical condition. The next day on September 17, 2024, MR was informed by the hospital that the baby had died.
