The General Election Commission (KPU) of DKI Jakarta Province has officially dropped the name Aldi Taher from the list of prospective members of the DKI Jakarta DPRD legislature proposed by the United Nations.

DKI Jakarta KPU member Dody Wijaya said the KPU had asked for clarification from the two parties to state that Aldi Taher was confirmed as his leg.
"When there is a multi-nomination, this party must clarify it to the person concerned, so choose which party and which electoral district. It turns out that there is no statement at the United Nations. What is in the perindo party in the DPR RI," said Dody when contacted, Monday, August 7th.

"So, at the United Nations as a candidate for the DKI Jakarta DPRD, the status is not eligible," said Dody.
Currently, the election stage is in the period of eliminating the temporary candidate list (DCS) until August 11, 2023. At this stage, the KPU also provides opportunities for political parties to improve their legislative nomination files.
Given, there are still 139 baulaleg DPRD DKI who do not meet the requirements. Meanwhile, 1,720 baula legs of the DKI Jakarta DPRD and 25 bacapleg DPD RI electoral areas of DKI Jakarta have met the requirements.
