JAKARTA - Polda Metro Jaya arrested 12 suspects in the Cambodian network trafficking crime case (TPPO) that sold human organs. Of the dozens of suspects, the majority are donors.

"Of the 12 suspects, 10 are part of a syndicate, of which 9 are former donors," said Director of General Criminal Investigation at the Metro Jaya Police, Kombes Hengki Haryadi, to reporters, Thursday, July 20.

Meanwhile, the two officers who were also arrested were Aipda M and A. Both of them helped hinder the investigation process.

"Aipda M, this is a member who tries to prevent, obstruct, either directly or indirectly the investigation process carried out by the joint team," said Hengki.
