MATARAM - A doctor on duty at the Regional General Hospital (RSUD) of Mataram City, West Nusa Tenggara, was transferred to become a library staff. "Suddenly I was transferred to become a staff member in the library. Even though I am not a liar," said Dr. I Komang Paramita to reporters in Mataram, as reported by Antara, Monday, July 17. Komang admitted that he was transferred to become a library staff at the Mataram City Hospital from his previous position as Head of the Hospital SIM and Medical Record. The dismissal letter is dated July 3, 2023. However, the transfer certificate was handed over to him by the Head of the Sub-Division of the Mataram City Hospital on July 8, 2023. "So I don't know what the background really is so doctors can be placed as heroes," he said. Komang said that as a State Civil Apparatus (ASN) he currently holds the rank IV/b with the Level I Trustee group. In terms of good bureaucratic rules and principles, this mutation is suspected to be incompatible with the rules and principles of good governance. "This clearly violates the rules and principles of a good and correct government. A doctor, yes, should be placed according to his scientific background. In the library, there are already new buyers who have been placed. When I was a senior doctor whose rank was IV/b, he was placed as a library staff. This is strange," he explained. Therefore, he admitted that he felt insulted by the policies he judged had no clear basis for consideration. "I feel insulted being treated like this because from the aspect of the rules alone this is not true. Obviously I will fight this decision," said the doctor who previously served as Chairman of the Ethics and Law Committee at the Mataram City Hospital. His party claimed to have reported the policy to the Regional Secretary of Mataram City. " Orally, I have reported to the Regional Secretary. And I have explained that there is nothing that I violated while serving as a doctor at the Regional Hospital," said Komang. His party also admitted that they had reported it to the Indonesian Doctors Organization (IDI) of the Mataram Branch and to the Regional IDI. "I have submitted a written report, just waiting for the response," he said. He reported on the alleged violation of the code of ethics against colleagues. "Ethically, I should have been summoned and explained first what the mistakes I had made. But this suddenly went straight out of the Assignment Decree to the library as an ordinary staff on July 3, 2023 and I received the decree on July 08," he said. His party regrets the absence of studies and considerations as outlined in the assignment letter. "It's okay for him to move anyone but there must be a basis. That's what I regret to this day. And I feel persecuted by this decision," he added. Therefore, he hopes that other ASNs do not experience what happened to him. "Let the Mayor of Mataram evaluate their performance," he said.
