For Ganjar, Non-Corruption Government Is The Key To The Success Of Leaders

MAKASSAR - The series of national working meetings (Rakernas) of the Association of Indonesian City Governments (Apeksi) XVI in 2023 will be held in Makassar City, South Sulawesi. The Apeksi National Working Meeting takes place from 10-14 July 2023.

Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo, attended the XVI Apeksi National Working Meeting at the Upperhils Convention Hall, Makassar City on Thursday, July 13. Ganjar is scheduled to participate in panel discussions with mayors throughout Indonesia.

Ganjar said, under his leadership, Central Java has a commitment to eradicating corruption with the tagline 'Mboten Corruption, Mboten Ngapusi' which means not corruption and not cheating.

This commitment continues to be carried by Ganjar during his leadership, including if he is elected President of the Republic of Indonesia in the upcoming 2024 election. According to him, a clean government is the main key to the success of leaders in serving the community.

"There are the same characteristics that the community rejects, namely eradicating corruption, everyone will agree and we must be serious about that," said Ganjar at the location.

Ganjar explained that the recapitulation of the quality of performance of Central Java Province based on the function of government got a high score and was very high in 2022, which was 70 percent.

The indicators were shown from a number of improvements and improvements made by Ganjar in Central Java, such as public housing, tourism, land, financial management, libraries to industry.

Based on this, Ganjar succeeded in bringing Central Java Province to the award as the Best Performance Province Nationally in 2023 from the Ministry of Home Affairs. Central Java managed to become the best province with a score of 3.714 high performance statuses.

Central Java occupies the first position ahead of the Special Region of Yogyakarta (DIY) in second place with a score of 3.621 high performance status, and East Java in third place with a score of 3.613 high performance status.

"If then we are more confident that we can do one, the government is clean and can serve, then what is the problem of society and occurs in all places, must be the first priority," said Ganjar.

Ganjar further said that the ongoing President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) programs must also be continued and completed, especially those with high economic added value for the community.

Ganjar gave an example, the intensive infrastructure development in the era of President Jokowi must be sustainable and gradual. This is to maintain the stability of the government in the midst of the turmoil of failure to change leadership which has failed and occurred in many countries.

"Secondly, of course, the infrastructure that has been built by Mr. President Jokowi can be taken care of and completed. The added value is there. If it already exists today, then the utilization of all existing infrastructure must produce added value, special economic wabil,"

For this reason, Ganjar insists that Indonesia's economic growth will far exceed the countries in the world. Ganjar also projects that Indonesia will be able to be in the top four positions in the world economy by 2050.

"We are talking about the growth (Indonesian economy), job creation, so that people will be able to get more opportunities to live a better life," said Ganjar.
