PENAJAM - The Land Bank Agency has prepared land in North Penajam Paser Regency, East Kalimantan Province, for the construction of airports (airports) as transportation support infrastructure in the State Capital (IKN) Nusantara.
"We are preparing 360 hectares of land for the construction site for the new Indonesia IKN transportation support airport," said Penajam Paser Utara Regency Land Bank Project Head Syafran Zamzami as reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, June 21.

Syafran hopes that the district, sub-district and sub-district governments will support the preparation of airport locations and construction so that it can run according to the set plan.
The land for the airport construction site is part of the former land (HGU) of PT Triteknik Kalimantan Abadi (TKA), which is managed by the Land Bank Agency covering an area of 4,162 hectares.
The location for the construction of the IKN Nusantara transportation supporting airports is located in the Gersik, Jenebora, and Kelurahan Pantai Lango areas, Penajam District, North Penajam Paser Regency.
"It is targeted that the land limit for the airport construction site will be completed on July 25, 2023," he explained.
