The High Prosecutor's Office (Kejati) of East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) has detained a suspect ANS in the alleged hoarding of 1.2 tons of subsidized commercial fuel (BBM) in Sabu Raijua Regency, after NTT Police investigators transferred files and suspects to the NTT Prosecutor's Office.

The judge said this was related to the delegation of suspects and evidence in the case of hoarding subsidized commercial fuel in Sabu Raijua Regency.
He said the detention was carried out because the ANS suspect had been on the NTT Police's wanted list (DPO) which surrendered on Wednesday, June 14.
He said the suspect was detained by the NTT Provincial High Prosecutor's Office at the Class II B Penitentiary (Lapas) Kupang for 20 days, before the files were transferred by the Public Prosecutor (JPU) of the NTT High Prosecutor's Office to the Kupang District Court for trial.
"The prosecutor has detained the suspect for 20 days while waiting for the trial. The public prosecutor is still preparing all case files to be transferred to the court so that the case can be tried immediately," said Abdul Hakim.
According to him, the suspect ANS was charged with Article 55 of Law Number 11 of 2020 concerning the creation of the work of amendments to Law Number 22 of 2001 concerning oil and gas with a sentence of five years in prison.
