JAKARTA - As many as 16 regional heads and deputy regional heads from the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) learned regional development from the Governor of the National Resilience Institute (Lemhanas) Andi Widjajanto in Jakarta.

The group was led by the Chairman of the Regional Leadership Development Agency (BPKD) of the PKS DPP who is also the Governor of West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) Zulkieflimansyah visited the Lemhanas Office.

"This is part of a form of understanding in development, how to see more broadly about the running of this nation from Lemhanas," said Zulkieflimansyah as quoted by ANTARA, Monday, June 5.

The visit, he said, was very important for regional heads, to expand their understanding and synergy space in finding solutions to the nation's problems.

"This visit is also part of the national friendship of PKS regional leadership to various national figures," he said.

The results of the visit, he said, could later be translated in the field by regional heads, including from PKS, with the aim of providing welfare for the people in the regions.

Zulkieflimansyah alluded to regional heads having to have intelligence in dealing with investment flows. Meanwhile, the central government must also be smart and understand how to deal with it.

"If it is a form of return key project investment, it will certainly be different from projects that include technology transfers or local workforce participation. We learned a lot from the presentation of the Governor of Lemhanas today," he said.

Meanwhile, the Governor of Lemhanas Andi Widjajanto welcomed the arrival of all regional heads and deputy regional heads of PKS members to strengthen solidity, capacity building, and expand national insight and resilience as well as sustainable development strategies.

In particular, Andi also conveyed several stories of international investment programs that were successfully built in the regions.

"Investment in Morowali can increase regional growth by 68 percent, much higher than national economic growth. One of the highlights is the involvement of local partners with majority ownership, so that investment in the regions is actually felt benefits by the public," he explained.

Andi also added that in today's era of technology, additional inflation emerged in the form of digital inflation, green inflation and disruption inflation.

He also reminded that there are challenges in the future, for example, the impact of Artificial Intellect (AI) and quantum computing technology.
