Secretary General Of PKS: 580 Candidates Will Be Registered In KPU Data

JAKARTA - Secretary General (Secretary General) of the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) Habib Aboe Bakar Al Habsy said 580 candidates for DPR RI members from PKS had been registered in the General Election Commission (KPU) data to participate in the 2024 General Election. "I report 580 people, our candidate candidates (bakal) have been registered in the KPU data. Thank God, in 84 electoral districts," said Habib Aboe when giving a speech in the middle of the registration of prospective members of the DPR RI by PKS at the KPU RI Office, Jakarta, Antara, Monday, May 8. Of all the candidates, PKS has fulfilled the representation of women of 35.9 percent or 5.9 more than the minimum provision of 30 percent of women's representation in registration of candidates by political parties. "In all of that, there are women in 208 women. This means that as many as 35.9 percent and in them there are millennials, complete," said Habib Aboe. Previously, PKS accompanied by a cultural carnival arrived at the KPU RI Office, Jakarta, Monday, to register prospective members of the DPR RI. Based on ANTARA's monitoring, PKS arrived at the KPU RI office at around 10:00 WIB with a cultural carnival accompaniment led directly by PKS President Ahmad Syaikhu accompanied by PKS General Treasurer Mahfudz Abdurrahman and PKS Secretary General Habib Aboe Bakar Al Habsy. Before entering the KPU Office, Ahmad Syaikhu in his remarks in front of the white and black dominated building expressed his hope that the registration of the prospective DPR candidate would be a spirit for PKS to welcome the 2024 General Election. "Today, thank God, on the 8th of PKS number 8, we registered as candidates for DPR members, becoming the first participants in the 2024 election contestation. Hopefully this will be an encouragement for PKS to welcome democracy in 2024," he said. In the future, Syaikhu hopes that PKS will continue to work hard to make it easier for PKS to face the 2024 General Election.

Apart from the leaders and a number of PKS ranks, it was also seen that several people from youth, farmers, laborers, and the online motorcycle taxi community took PKS to the Indonesian KPU Office to register their candidate members of the DPR. They walked from Taman Suropati to the Indonesian KPU Office while carrying the PKS flag and were enlivened by the performance of the marching band.
