JAKARTA - The Ministry of Education, Culture, Research & Technology (Kemendikbudristek) through Kedaireka signed an MoU with BPP HIPMI. This collaboration is expected to encourage the active role of young entrepreneurs to accelerate their business through the 2023 Matching Fund - Kedaireka.

The signing of the MoU was carried out by the Director General of Higher Education, Research and Technology of the Indonesian Ministry of Education and Culture, Nizam and the Chairman of BPP HIPMI, Akbar Himawan Buchari on Friday, April 14, 2023 at the Borobudur Hotel, Jakarta.

The partnership between Kedaireka and BPP HIPMI has been built since 2020 in order to build an innovation ecosystem in the country based on pentahelix collaboration, especially the Industrial World Business World (DUDI) with the Higher Education sector. The commitment of the two parties to strengthen this partnership was marked by the signing of the MoU which was also attended by the Chairperson of PMO Kedaireka, Mahir Bayasut, the 2023 Matching Fund-daireka Substance Team, Lilis Nuraida and members of HIPMI from various regions.

Raising the theme Investment In Innovation: Acceleration Through Matching Fund - Kedaireka, Plenary Session, which is part of a series of MoU activities between Kedaireka and BPP HIPMI, presented a speaker of the Chairperson of PMO Kedaireka, Mahir Bayasut and the 2023 Kedaireka Matching Fund Substance Team, Lilis Nuraida. On that occasion, Mahir and Lilis introduced the Kedaireka Platform and the Matching Fund - Kedaireka program to the members of HIPMI who were present.

"Currently, the acceptance of the Matching Fund - Kedaireka 2023 proposal is entering its 3rd batch and officially open for the period March 29 April 30, 2023. We are increasingly convinced that the Matching Fund - Kedaireka is the best program to realize innovation collaboration between universities and industry," Nizam added.

Chairman of BPP HIPMI, Akbar Himawan Buchari said that BPP HIPMI is committed to supporting the Matching Fund - Kedaireka and Kedaireka Ecosystem programs because they have strategic value in encouraging national economic improvement.
