JAKARTA - Former member of the Governor's Team for the Acceleration of Development (TGUPP) DKI Jakarta, Naufal Firman Yursak, denied that he had abused his authority in the DKI Provincial Government when Anies Baswedan served as Governor of DKI Jakarta. Based on residents' reports, Naufal, who is one of the closest people to Anies, is suspected of interfering in determining regulations in Governor Regulation Number 70 of 2021 concerning the Second Amendment to Governor Regulation Number 132 of 2018 concerning the Development of Management of Owned Flats. The issuance of this additional governor's regulation is suspected to be Naufal's way of smoothing his way to return to being the Chairman of the Association of Owners and Occupants of the Taman Rasuna Apartment Flats (P3SRS) for the period 2022-2025. It is known that the governor's regulation limits the position of P3SRS administrators to a maximum of two terms. However, Naufal had served two terms before running for the same position again. Naufal admitted that during his first term in office, he did not participate in nominations and was appointed through interim replacement (PAW) during the middle of his term of office. So, according to him, it cannot be calculated as a term of office when referring to Pergub 70/2021. "Before that I was indeed an administrator, but I did not run, I was appointed in the middle of the road, like PAW. There is a retroactive legal principle that will take effect in the future," Naufal told reporters, Tuesday, March 28. Then, while serving as Chair of the Taman Rasuna Apartment P3SRS, Naufal was said by residents to use a number of management fees (IPL) for residents in the housing complex to pay their income taxes, THR management, and insurance. Regarding the use of money for tax payments, Naufal emphasized that it is an income tax as chairman of P3SRS and not a personal income tax. Previously, the Chairman of the DKI Jakarta DPRD, Prasetyo Edi Marsudi, received a complaint from residents about the alleged abuse of authority of the former member of the DKI Jakarta Governor's Team for the Acceleration of Development (TGUPP), Naufal Firman Yursak when the Governor of DKI was still held by Anies Baswedan. The alleged abuse of authority was carried out by Firman, who served as Chair of the Association of Owners and Occupants of the Taman Rasuna Apartment Flats (P3SRS).
