XPeng, a leading automotive company from China, has just launched its newest electric crossover, the G6, which offers advanced features and technologies but at affordable prices.

The G6 is XPeng's fifth model to make its debut in April 2023 at Auto Shanghai 2023. The XPeng company originally emerged as an automotive brand in 2018.

At first sight, the exterior of the X Peng G6 looks similar to the Tesla Model Y, so it is considered a competitor to Model Y.

However, some of the design elements have quite striking differences with the Tesla Model Y. Especially on the front, the G6 carries a distinctive XPeng design, which is a fresh light that runs from the left to the right, resembling several other Hyundai models.

However, the design of the other parts is quite similar to the Tesla Model Y, from the side design that expands to the fat back and resembles the Tesla crossover.

Quoted from the InsideEV page on Sunday, July 2, the inside of the XPeng G6 has a 15-inch touchscreen powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset.

The car has room capacity for five adults, including the driver who will get the XPeng ADAS XNGP assistance system for further highway trips.

XPeng offers G6 in several variants, including a dual-motor version capable of generating 480 dk of power, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h within 3.9 seconds. Even so, all versions have a maximum speed of up to 201 km/hour.

The XPeng G6 is currently sold starting at a price of 209,900 yuan or around Rp435 million. Of course, this price is more affordable than the cheapest variant of the Tesla Model Y which sells for 263,900 yuan or around Rp547 million in China.

X Peng is expanding its wings in the global market by selling some of its vehicles in Europe. Currently, they have sold X Peng G9 and P7. In addition, X Peng plans to market the G6 in the European continent in the near future.

After successfully selling vehicles in Denmark, the Netherlands, Norway, and Sweden, X Peng plans to venture into a number of other European countries, including France in the near future, and plans to enter the UK market by 2025.
