JAKARTA - Japanese automotive manufacturer Honda launched its newest segment C SUV, ZR-V 2024 with a design and offers the latest driving experience.
Launched at the European Media Event at Offenbach, Germany, this car is in the middle of the SUV between HR-V and CR-V. The exterior design is stylish and modern so it is suitable for young people.
Yutaka Kato, as project leader of ZR-V, said the SUV was designed to support a busy and active lifestyle, as well as offering interesting things among Honda's SUV lineup.
"Incorporating our daily functionality, extraordinary comfort level, and attractive design with our outstanding sporty dynamics and hybrid powertrain e:HEV, this is the perfect evolution of our European set of models," he said in an official statement.
With a brave and dashing look, the HR-V brother has a sleek headlights and glossy black grating that prioritizes aesthetics in ZR-V. The sides to the back have a fine design, but this can help improve aerodynamic performance.
In addition to the very modern exterior, Honda also offers a relieved cabin section. With storage on the relieved floor, ZR-V can carry cargo of up to 1,291 liters.
Taken from all-new Civic's hybrid e:HEV technology, ZR-V equipped with a 2.0 liter 4-cylinder direct injection Atkinson engine combined with two electric motors results in more efficient energy consumption and impressive performance.
Although Honda has not provided further specifications regarding ZR-V, it is estimated that the hybrid engine can issue 181 dk of power and 315 Nm of torque.
The Honda ZR-V will be available starting this fall and the crossover will be sold on the European market. However, this Japanese manufacturer has not announced a price.
