Year-End Holidays, TMII Presents Acrobat Attractions To The Night Market

JAKARTA - The manager of the Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII) in East Jakarta presents various entertainments such as acrobatics, art exhibitions, music concerts, and night markets to celebrate the 2024 end of the holiday.

The President Director of TMII, Intan Ayu Kartika, explained that the series of events entitled "Sukaria Ga Ada Finalnya di TMII" will take place from the end of 2024 to early 2025.

"This year is full of stories and happiness, and we want to bring that spirit to the following year with a more exciting and interesting event," Intan said at a press conference in Jakarta on Monday focusing on the 2024 Swara Prambanan activity.

Intan added that a number of special events had been prepared from December 2024 to January 2025.

One of the attractions that visitors can enjoy is the Indonesia International Stuntman Show, a spectacular acrobatic show that will be held from November 29, 2024 to January 12, 2025.

Not only that, there is also an art exhibition titled Pipilaka Calling which will take place at the TMII Contemporary Art Gallery from December 14, 2024 to January 31, 2025.

In addition to art attractions and acrobatics, the TMII manager also held a modern night market called Perdanaria Jakarta which is ready to welcome visitors on December 21, 2024 to January 19, 2025.

The peak of the new year celebration will be held on 29-30 December 2024 and 1 January 2025 by presenting a music concert with the theme Sorak-Sorai Fest.

"Several artists who will appear include Tiara Andini, Project POP, Type-X, Disco Pantera, and a number of other musicians," explained Intan.

Furthermore, TMII will also hold a culinary and cultural festival that is characteristic of this destination.

"We present this event in full with culinary and cultural festivals, because this is the advantage of TMII over other tourist attractions," he added.

To ensure the comfort of visitors during the year-end holidays, TMII managers have beautified tourist areas and kept the environment clean.

As part of efforts to create carbon emission-free areas of up to 70 percent, visitors will be directed to park their vehicles outside the TMII area. The manager provides Mobile Transportation or Angle facilities for visitors to tour inside TMII.

In addition, transportation facilities have also been provided to facilitate access from Transjakarta bus stops and LRT stations.

"Currently we have 30 units of Angle, and in the holiday season the number will be added. In December, we will also add 5 electric buses (EV buses) to maximize transportation services," concluded Intan.
