Feeling Lost, Tyas Mirasih: Mama Is The Most Vocal In The Family

JAKARTA - Tyas Mirasih recently lost his mother, Hedy Elias, who died on Wednesday, May 24, and was buried at the Pondok Ranggon TPU, East Jakarta. Commemorating his late mother, the 36-year-old actress said that the extended family felt lost.

"Mama is in a family like the most vocal. So, that's why it's enough for people to lose mom," said Tyas Mirasih to the media crew at Pondok Ranggon TPU, East Jakarta, Wednesday, May 24.

Tyas also called his mother a kind and caring figure, not only for his own family, but also for other people who know him.

In the eyes of everyone who knows, mama is good. No one says that mom is not a good person. So, he is indeed someone who cares about other people," he said.

Recalling the last moments of her mother being treated at the hospital, Tyas was surprised when his mother still paid attention to the household assistant (ART) who worked at home, even though he was in a very bad health condition.

"We thought, how come you can say that? So, when he realized that he remembered 'it's a maid who hasn't been paid yet, you know'. So his life is busy taking care of people. It turns out that we think we will forget about that, but when we realized that someone else, this one, this one hasn't. Yes, his life is for other people, especially for family, "said Tyas.

Before passing away, the mother gave a message to Tyas and his siblings, but the actress did not want to reveal what message was conveyed. For his family, the last moment with his mother was one of the best moments.

"There is (a message from mama), just how the conversation is, it's enough for us and the family to know. It's there, but we know what mama hopes for. With our extended family, of course, there was a moment when Mama realized and it was the best communication with mom at that time," concluded Tyas Mirasih.
