Don't Miss It, Here's How To Pray Sunnah Lailatul Qadar

JAKARTA - The night of Lailatul Qadar is a special night. According to the Prophet SAW, Lailatul Qadar is located on the last 10 nights of Ramadan. Imam Al Ghazali in the book Ihya 'Ulumuddin said, lailatul qadar is a blessed night. Tonight is one of 15 special nights in Islam.

On the night of Lailatul Qadar, worship was doubled many times. But usually people fill the night of Lailatul Qadar with sunnah prayers. Actually, there is no special guide for the night prayer of Lailatul qadar in the books of hadiths and fiqih books. But launching the NU Online page, Wednesday, April 12, there is special guidance for the night sunnah prayer lailatul qadar in the Durratun Nashih Book.

In the book, two rakaat lailatul qadar sunnah prayers are performed as much as possible in general. The reading of the letter and prayer are as follows:

Meaning: "I ask for forgiveness from Allah and I repent to Him."

Based on this history in the book Durratun Nashihin, for people who practice the sunnah prayer in two rakaat nights, Allah will forgive him and forgive his parents when he wakes up from his seat.

Allah SWT, the history said, also sent an angel to heaven to plant trees, build palaces, and dig rivers in heaven for people who practice the sunnah prayer lailatul qadar. History of Ibnu Abbas's friend in this book is problematic. The history is cited from Tafsir Al-Hanafi, but this history was never found in the hadith books that have been a reference in formulating Islamic law (fiqih). Therefore, in the fiqih books we do not find sunnah prayers lailatul qadar in the chapter of the nafilah prayer or sunnah prayers.
