JAKARTA - Kakao Entertainment announced that K-pop group IVE will become Columbia Records' partner for a larger expansion. Starship Entertainment as one of Kakao's company units selected their youngest artist for promotion in North America.

Launching Variety, Columbia Records will support the distribution of IVE music globally to promotions for their first album, I've IVE. The K-pop group will also release a pre-released single entitled Kitsch on 27 March.

We are excited to be able to start global IVE with Columbia Records, a company with a rich history in pop music. This partnership means a lot to us," said Joseph Jang of Kakao Entertainment.

Columbia Records is a US label that houses top musicians, such as Adele, Beyonce, HAIM, Harry Styles, Little Mix, and many others.

In addition, Republic Records is also a label for several K-pop groups such as TWICE, TXT, and (G)I-DLE. Like IVE, Republic handled TWICE promotions while in the United States.

IVE not only released albums, but they plan to promote widely in the United States.
