PLN Group collaborates in Kapuas and Pulang Pisau Regency, Central Kalimantan. The collaboration was realized in multifunctional energy plant planting activities in Buntoi Village, Kahayan Hilir District, Pulang Pisau Regency on an area of 20 hectares and in Rawa Subur Village, Kapuas Murung District, Kapuas Regency on an area of 80 hectares.
This program is a follow-up to the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between PLN Holding, PT PLN Energi Primary Indonesia (PLN EPI), PT PLN Nusantara Power (PLN NP), Kuala Kapuas Regency Government and Pulang Pisau, and Palangkaraya University LPPM by planting Gamal (gliricidia sepirum) plants on 100 hectares of land.
The details are 160,000 seeds planted on 80 hectares of land in Rawa Subur and 40,000 other seeds are planted on 20 hectares of Buntoi Village.
"This multifunctional plant planting collaboration collaborates with 8 (eight) farmer groups in Rawa Subur Village and 3 (three) farmer groups in Buntoi Village," said PT PLN EPI President Director, Iwan Agung Firstantara, Saturday, December 14.
General Manager of PLN UID South and Central Kalimantan, Ahmad Syauki said this planting activity also involved the local Village Owned Enterprise (BUMDes).
