JAKARTA - The Ministry of Industry (Kemenperin) through the Bantaeng Manufacturing Community Academy (Akom Bantaeng) South Sulawesi, has collaborated with four metal industries related to the provision of competent industry human resources.
Akom Bantaeng has signed an MoU with PT Merdeka Tsingshan Indonesia, PT Wahyu Pradana Bina Mulia, PT Biota Laut Ganggang, and PT Indonesia Pomalaa Industrial Park.
"Akom Bantaeng is one of the four Ministry of Industry's higher education units accompanied by S4C, an institution supported by the Swiss government and BPSDMI to provide assistance in school development and improve partnership relations with industry," said Head of the Center for Industrial Vocational Education Development at the Ministry of Industry Emmy Suryandari in a press release, Monday, June 12.
One of the experts facilitated by the Swiss S4C team is the curriculum preparation method better known as dacum or development a curriculum, which is a curriculum development method that makes it easier to explore the needs of position competencies translated into a learning curriculum.
Until now, Akom Bantaeng has had 26 industrial partners in the mineral and metal fields. In addition, the education unit will also explore industrial research cooperation with the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN).
