"In this exploration drilling program, we carry a borderless strategy, as previously applied to the Helios D1 Exploration Well which is a slice of the work area of PT Pertamina EP (PEP) and the PHSS working area. Currently, we have completed the drilling process and evaluated the results," said Chalid, quoted on Friday, April 14.
Furthermore, Chalid explained that through this borderless strategy, collaboration between PHI, PHSS, PT Pertamina EP (PEP) Asset 5, Pertamina Upstream Pertamina Subholding and PT Elnusa.
"The results of the synergy and collaboration between Pertamina and the group are opening (play opener) in finding resources that will increase oil and gas reserves," said Chalid.
According to Chalid, this well is expected to be a new discovery for the development of the Company's future resources and maintain energy continuity in Indonesia.
This drilling target is to achieve OTOBOSOR (On Target, On Budget, On Scope/Spec/Safety, On Return/Regulation) and can meet additional resources targets or 2C so that reserve and Reserve to Production (RTP) findings or the Company's production operation period can be longer," added Chalid.
Chalid also conveyed the Company's commitment to continue investing in exploration and development activities in oil and gas fields to find new resources and increase reserves that are important for achieving national energy security.
