AP I President Director, Faik Fahmi, explained that the operational flexibility of 12 airports due to the limited number of aircraft flights during Eid homecoming is estimated.
"We operate 15 airports, out of 15 airports, Denpasar, Makassar, Manado (operating) 24 hours. However, outside of the airport, all of our airports, we stand by 24 hours. So this is flexible based on the request of flight operators," said Faik during a meeting with Commission VI DPR RI, Monday, April 10.
However, he continued, there is a possibility that the 12 airports can also operate for 24 hours, depending on requests from airlines.
"So accommodating the possibility of limited number of aircraft so that we are quite flexible, if these Airline friends add to the flight, then we are flexible to serve 24 hours," he explained.
Faik said that his party estimates that the number of aircraft operations during the Lebaran homecoming will be limited by 2023. In particular, flights through 15 airports managed by the company.

Faik said the fleet that will be operated during the 2023 Lebaran homecoming was recorded at 412 aircraft.
This figure is higher than the number of flights during Eid homecoming in the previous year, namely 335 aircraft.
