独家费迪 · 努里尔刷新与现实喜剧在什么时候怀孕?

JAKARTA - Fedi Nuril is finishing his latest film, When is Pregnant? In this film, Fedi plays Alan. According to him, the film, directed by Dee Cinema, can provide a refresher for the acring that he has been working on so far.

"I can relate to this Alan character. Because after marriage people tend to always ask, when is the wife pregnant? It feels uncomfortable, because we ourselves don't know the answer. But we can't be angry. It's all wrong," he said during the first day of shooting. in Cibubur, Jakarta, Wednesday, June 9th.

In the film When is Pregnant?, Alan has been married to Nadya for a long time but is not pregnant yet. According to him, this role is very close to his own life.

"This film has the most interesting story, I play Alan who has a wife played by Laura Basuki. This is an exciting story, three years of marriage and no children. Then he is asked to take a test and the result is that he is infertile. Then he manipulates the test results to make it seem fertile When he decided for IVF, he dodged again, tricking again how he could escape this IVF program," said Calysta's husband Vanny Widyasasti.

Often playing in drama films, Fedi is enthusiastic about this film directed by Rizal Mantovani. "I think it's really fun because I've never tried a character like this before. It's manipulative and the story has a lot of comedians. So it's not only a touching drama, but also entertaining," he explained.

The story of a couple who has not had children is an outline, even though he has never experienced it firsthand, Fedi hopes that this film can be a picture of the reality that is happening in society.

"Thank God I didn't experience what was in this film. But I often hear what Nadya and Alan experienced is happening in the community. Starting from asking when are you getting married? When you are married, you are asked when you are pregnant? Then when you have children, you are asked when to add children?," said the father of these two children.

"In fact, if you think about getting pregnant, everything has a time, except for problems. It's quite realistic, yes, this is the story. I think it only happens in Indonesia, if the couple is not pregnant, the suspect is the wife. Even though that's not necessarily the case, it could be the boy," he added. .

The nature of the husband's ego will be the main factor in the story of this film. "And the guy tends to have his ego hit really hard. Even though this is natural, there's no need to be ashamed. Clinically it can happen and now there is a solution. But yes for men it's really bitter, the ego is really hit," he explained.

Departing from a true story, this film also provides comedy. Just like life, the story goes on and on.

"This comedy is more of a situation, not other characters playing silly or funny characters. But the situation is made as natural as possible and makes this actor funny. For me, who used to play serious dramas, this is refreshing too," said the man who has recorded 24 films in his filmography. .

According to Fedi, comedy elements cannot be separated from any film genre in Indonesia. "Indonesian audiences still see films as entertainment. The element of comedy is needed in a film. Regardless of drama, no matter how serious it is, it would be nice for Indonesian audiences to have mods. So they are entertained," he said.

Malang crosses over in acting, even as a producer in the film Heart Beat, Fedi still has one dream role. "I want to be a demon in a horror movie," he said.

According to Fedi, people's views of horror films have changed. Indonesian horror is getting more serious, it has even been awarded.

"People's tastes have also changed, they want interesting and surprising stories with plot twists. Well, I've never played horror and I'm not a coward. As an actor I'm not a coward, so I can't imagine how scared acting is. And will it be convincing? if there is a producer who offers horror they ask 'Can I be the devil or not?'," he recalled laughing.

Trying new things, according to Fedi, is always challenging, so he likes to think extreme sometimes. "It's accepted or not later. But sometimes we have to dare to take risks, it can be very accepted or cursed. But I'm ready to be scolded, it's already a risk of entertainment whether someone likes it or not. The important thing is to learn oh it turns out I'm not suitable to be the devil. Maybe he's a shaman this time," he said with a laugh.

Always Missing Music

Starting his career as a guitarist for the band Garasi, Fedi Nuril did not expect to have a long-lasting career as an actor. Starting from trial and error, Fedi then enjoys every act. To choose to play in a film, Fedi has several considerations.

"First the story, I have to like the story. Second as much as possible there are differences from the previous characters. Look at the director, the co-stars," he explained.

According to him, the film has a long process that is not as glamorous as it seems. That's why Fedi is very concerned about who the team behind the scenes will work with.

"The film costs a lot of money, a lot of people, it's quite serious in the process. Even though we make a comedy, we make it serious. So it's important to have a solid and trustworthy team. So whoever is involved in my opinion is important," he said.

The pandemic has become a storm for Indonesian cinema. When film production is at the peak of optimism, cinemas must open and close. Where the movie is showing is switched to OTT.

There is no other choice, because safety is more important, then Fedi prefers to take the bright side. After the film The Unforgettable Heaven 3 aired in one of the OTTs, Fedi saw that every opportunity had a good and a bad side.

"Yes, maybe the excitement is different, yes. On the one hand, seeing a cinema full of people is happy, it makes us excited to make it because it is appreciated. Now in this OTT there may be many who watch but we can't see it," he said

"But the positive thing is that OTT can reach a wider area, maybe even outside Indonesia. There are more opportunities to watch it. Pluses and minuses, but we really have to adapt to this condition," added Fedi.

Prassetyo's performance in the film The Unforgettable Heaven is still optimistic about the Indonesian film. "If we look at the statistics, it will continue to rise. To reach one million viewers, it is not as difficult as it used to be. Unfortunately, when it goes up and down, there is a pandemic. But seeing the progress of people I'm very optimistic about the creativity and willingness of the audience to go to the cinema," he explained.

"If I see that we have characteristics that we don't need to imitate outsiders. Because the audience was increasing before the pandemic, it's still realistic to think that they prefer watching Indonesian films to other films. So it's a shame there is a pandemic, but I'm optimistic. Filmmakers -New filmmakers appear and are fresh," he continued.

OT, he continued, could be used as an opportunity to attract a larger audience. "For example, there are people who don't like the film I'm playing in just because they have subscribed to OTT, so they finally watch it. But it turns out they like it, so they add more viewers," he said.

What cannot change about Fedi Nuril is his love for music. "I've always missed music, yes, music was my passion from school. I've been playing guitar all the time. Until now, I still play music. The film came suddenly, I tried it, and it turned out to be addicting because it was fun. Making music is also always addictive. yes," he explained.

Even though he always plays music, Fedi can't forget the passion he gets on stage. This is what Fedi misses the most during the COVID-19 pandemic.

"With the pandemic, I can't say when to play music again. Because even though most people have been vaccinated, there is still the potential to catch and infect people. Musicians reach the point of satisfaction if they can perform live and be watched by many people. Even though now there is streaming media, but nothing can beat a gig and watched by many people," he said.

For the future, film and music will remain his life goals. However, the man who was born on July 1, 1982, admitted that he wanted to develop more in terms of business.

"Maybe it's more in terms of business, it doesn't mean being an entrepreneur or anything. Maybe in music, because musicians are the most lazy to explore the business side. Because the calculations are complicated. Now, with the changing times, I think creative people can't be indifferent to that," he said.

Fedi wants to build a bridge between creativity and commercial. "Because usually creative people and producers who think commercially often clash. In my opinion, there is nothing wrong and right, you have to find a middle way. That's why I want to explore the business side to understand how film and music works can be a middle way, idealism and commercial can go together," said Fedi Nuril.
