Lady Aurelia Pramesti And Her Mother Examined By Police For 11 Hours Related To The Case Of Persecution Of Koas FK Unsri

PALEMBANG Investigator Unit V Subdit III Jatanras Ditreskrimum Polda South Sumatra (Sumsel) examined Lady Aurelia Pramesti, a young doctor (coas), and her mother, Sri Meilina, regarding the case of abuse that occurred at the Faculty of Medicine, Sriwijaya University (Unsri).

The examination took place at the Ilir Timur II Palembang Police on Monday afternoon, from 13.00 WIB to Tuesday 17 December in the morning at 00.00 WIB. Investigators asked 35 questions to Lady Aurelia and her mother who were examined as witnesses for almost 11 hours.

After the examination, Lady Aurelia avoided the media crew by exiting through the back door of the Police Headquarters, while Sri Meilina came out through the front door accompanied by her attorney.

Titis Rahmawati, Sri Meilina's attorney, stated that the presence of her client and Lady Aurelia aims to accelerate the settlement of cases of persecution that are widely discussed by the people of Palembang.

"A total of 35 questions were asked by investigators to our clients, about the chronology of the incident and how the incident happened," said Titis in the early hours of Tuesday.

Titis added that his party had been trying to take peaceful steps since the beginning of the incident. However, until now there has been no common ground because communication with the victim is still hampered.

"Regarding peace efforts, we have tried from the start. However, because the victim and his family have not been able to communicate and there has been no peace letter, this process has not been implemented," he added.

Meanwhile, Sri Meilina apologized to the victim, Muhammad Luthfi Hadhyan, an FK Unsri koas doctor who was abused by his family's personal driver. He hopes the victim can forgive the incident.

"We have tried to meet the victim a few days ago. However, because the victim is still traumatized, we hope that after this case is resolved, we can meet up and finish it well," said Sri Meilina.

Previously, a video recording the persecution of Muhammad Luthfi Hadhyan, a Koas FK Unsri doctor, went viral on social media. The incident occurred on the second floor of the Storia Cafe, Jalan Demang Lebar Daun, Ilir Barat I District, Palembang, on Wednesday 11 December at around 17.00 WIB.

The incident began when Luthfi was asked to meet Lady Aurelia Pramesti's parents regarding the year-end picket schedule at the hospital which was deemed unsatisfactory.

During the meeting, Lady Aurelia's mother felt disrespected by Luthfi and her two fellow koas doctors. The situation sparked the anger of the private driver who accompanied Lady's mother, resulting in persecution of Luthfi.

This case is still under further investigation by the police. Meanwhile, the public is looking forward to a fair legal settlement for all parties.
